Wow. It's a blustery March. Today is the 19th and just 3 days ago we were in t-shirts/blouses. But it was a 2 day deal. It's supposed to rain for the next 4 days. Today we have strong winds.
I am medically retired after 20 years of working for the FAA and a private firm in the aviation industry. (Four years were with the military.) I relayed pilot progress reports to the FAA and their respective companies using high frequency (HF) and very high frequency (VHF) radios. I phone patched them to their dispatcher or the FAA as the need required, even handling and/or assisting them in their mid-air emergencies.
I used to ride Harley's (I've owned 3 of them, now down to owning 1,) but since my brain surgery for an aneurysm, I only ride as a passenger now! And I no longer drive my own car.
I find it hard to read as much as I used to before my surgery. I used to read prolifically! Mainly science-fiction novels. (sigh!)
